FD 8th grade girls win Dodger Relays

The Fort Dodge eighth grade girls track team won the Dodger Relays with 125 points on Tuesday.

Marshalltown (88) was second, followed by Eagle Grove (77).

The Dodgers won nine events on the night. Winning individually were Brooklyn Gilliland (high jump, 100 hurdles), Brogan Miller (discus), Emersyn Lara (100, 200) and Emerson Pender (200 hurdles).

The 4×400 team of Rylee O’Brion, Pender, Rylan Hewett and Ava Osorio was a winner.

Macy Wills, Hewett, O’Brion and Meg Marsh were the 4×200 champions.

Miller, Karson Porter, Leah Myer and Osorio won the 4×800.

Individual runner ups came from Wills (high jump), Osorio (long jump), Porter (shot put), Miller (400, 800), Gilliland (200 hurdles).

The team of Pender, Marsh, Hewett, Osorio was second in the shuttle hurdle relay.

Wills, Marsh, Gilliland and Lara were silver in the 4×100.
