FDSH girls earn SHR title
ALGONA — The Fort Dodge girls continue to drop time in the shuttle hurdle relay, as they claimed another first place finish at the Hannover Relays on Tuesday.
The Dodger girls crossed the finish line in 1:13.89, a PR for the season. Running for the Dodgers were Adyson Friesth, Charlotte DeJong, LJ Maehl and Maeleena Meyer.
“We keep improving,” said Fort Dodge head coach Todd Constable. “It’s nice to see that we’re getting faster.
“The expectation is to knock some more time off once districts roll around.”
Ky’Mariana Mosley was second with a throw of 109 in the discus, a PR.
Meyer was fourth in the 100 hurdles (18.02) and Brooklyn Nelson (4-4) placed fourth in the high jump.
Linnie Pratt was fourth in the 3,000 for the Dodgers.
The Dodgers are back in action on Thursday when travel to Waterloo East for the Wahawk Invitational.
