HAMPTON — The St. Edmond boys tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision here Thursday to Hampton-Dumont/CAL.

Ethan Cibert, Caleb Mosier, Dylan Brokaw, Grant Anderson and Tate Hodges dropped singles matches while Cibert and Mosier, and Brokaw and Anderson, were topped in doubles.

“This was the first meet for every player on the roster,” SEHS head coach Shawn Neverman said. “Nerves definitely played a huge part in it but the boys are learning more and more with each practice.”

The Gaels are back in action on Friday at Webster City.
