Iowa Central bats explode for 46 runs

The 19th ranked Iowa Central baseball team exploded for 46 runs, taking three games from Marshalltown this weekend.
On Saturday the Tritons (28-6 overall. 12-2 ICCAC) cruised to a 21-2 win over Marshalltown (7-22, 0-13).
They finished the weekend sweep with 13-3 and 12-1 wins in five and seven innings respectively.
On Saturday the Tritons ripped three home runs in the victory. With the Sunday wins the Tritons have now won six consecutive games.
The Tritons are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Council Bluffs to face Iowa Western. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
Iowa Central will be back at home on Saturday and Sunday when they host North Iowa in three games at Rogers Park.
