No. 19 Tritons top Iowa Lakes
The No. 19 Iowa Central baseball team picked up a convincing 19-4 win in seven innings here Wednesday over Iowa Lakes.
The ICCAC contest was moved to Rogers Park due to weather, as the remaining two games in the series will be played on Thursday in Estherville at Hess Limberg Field. First-pitch in the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.
After taking two of three from Indian Hills on the road over the weekend, the Tritons moved to 23-6 overall and 7-2 in the league with their 12th game of at least 10 runs scored this season.
Following the twinbill on Thursday away from home, Iowa Central returns to Rogers Park on Saturday for the start of a three-game set with Marshalltown. The Tritons are 18-2 at home this season.
