The Iowa Central men’s and women’s track and field team have officially pushed several qualifiers into the upcoming Drake Relays in Des Moines.

Action starts on Thursday from Drake Stadium with five events featuring Triton runners.

Iowa Central will be in the women’s 4×800 and men’s 4×800 relays, along with the men’s 1,500 with Soufyane Laaziz, the men’s 800 with Said Rifi Loutfi and the men’s 5km with Chakib Cherkaoui.

On Friday, the men’s and women’s 4×1,600 relays will compete, along with the women’s sprint medley and men’s 4×200 relays. Zariah Greaves will run in the women’s 100 prelims, Maeva Goune Tibbolo will compete in the women’s long jump, Musa Nkosi will be in the men’s 400 and Mohamed Dahmouch in the men’s 1,500.

Closing things out on Saturday will be the women’s distance medley relay along with the men’s distance medley and shuttle hurdle relays.
